Commonwealth Financial Network® Ranked a Best Place to Work in San Diego
San Diego, CA (August 18, 2014)—For the sixth consecutive year, Commonwealth Financial Network® has been ranked as one of the Best Places to Work in San Diego by the San Diego Business Journal. Of the 100 top workplaces for 2014, Commonwealth was honored as the third Best Place to Work among large companies, defined as those with 250–1,999 U.S. employees.
The annual survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in the San Diego area, benefiting the county’s economy, workforce, and businesses in turn. The 2014 Best Places to Work in San Diego list is composed of 100 companies from across the county ranking highest on the two-part survey process. The first part is the evaluation of nominated companies on their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part is an employee survey to provide measurable feedback on the employee experience.
“To say we are pleased to be ranked for a sixth straight year is an understatement,” said John Rooney, managing principal of Commonwealth’s West Coast office. “The consistent acknowledgement of our company is a testament to the caliber of our staff and their commitment to supporting our 1,487 financial advisors and their practices.”
Rooney added, “Our dynamic and talented team has a strong work ethic and a stronger values system—they care and we care. We strive to maintain a supportive and engaging environment where coming to the office is fun and purposeful and hard work is recognized and rewarded.”
