Aurora, CO (October 11, 2023)— Commonwealth Financial Network®, a national firm dedicated to providing financial advisors with holistic, integrated business solutions, gathers its community of affiliated advisors, home office staff, and industry partners for education, connection, and inspiration at its National Conference: Find the Good: Rethink What's Possible. The firm's signature event, held from October 11 to 14 in Aurora, Colorado, encourages attendees to harness the power of practical insights and meaningful connections and apply them to their practices in an evolving and competitive industry.

“I always look forward to this event—our community comes together to celebrate our successes, discuss opportunities, and learn from each other as we prepare for our collective future," said Wayne Bloom, Commonwealth’s CEO. "I’m excited for our advisors to hear how Commonwealth is investing its time and resources to help them grow the way they want and create a truly exceptional experience for their clients.”

More than 100 educational sessions led by home-office experts, advisor peers, and strategic partners will be held throughout the conference. Speakers will take a deep dive into timely business building, practice management, and investment solution topics. Sessions include Leveraging Capital for Growth or Succession, Financial Planning for High-Net-Worth Investors, Creating Development Pathways for Your Team, and Harnessing the Power of Digital Marketing Effectively and Compliantly.

Commonwealth’s leadership team will take the main stage to announce key growth strategies and product enhancements that position the firm and its advisors for optimized success. There will be news about our evolution of offerings and solutions in Wealth Management, Practice Management, and Technology designed to give advisors a competitive advantage.

Commonwealth also hosted an exclusive two-day pre-conference Enterprise Retreat. Designed specifically for CEOs of enterprise firms, the retreat offered rich content organized across five themes geared to large and complex firms: future state, growth, scale, high-net-worth clients, and talent. The enterprise community is one of several Commonwealth supports, including next-gen, the women of Commonwealth, a chief operating officer group, and family businesses.

“It was excellent to build an event specifically for leaders who are succeeding through scale,” said Kenton Shirk, vice president of Practice Management at Commonwealth, who moderated the event. “This retreat presents a unique opportunity for senior decision makers to come together, share insights, and engage in meaningful discussions that will shape the future of our industry and their businesses. Advisors learned directly from Commonwealth on how we can help them manage their fast-growing businesses and achieve their aspirational goals.”

National Conference attendees will hear from thought-provoking keynote speakers, including Bill Browder, co-founder and CEO of Hermitage Capital Management; Jane Ferguson, award-winning special correspondent for PBS Newshour; Will Guidara, award-winning restaurateur and hospitality visionary; Father Greg Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries; and Dale Brown, CAE, president and CEO of Financial Services Institute. Each speaker will share their unique perspectives on business growth, managing through change, and social responsibility.

Commonwealth’s leaders, subject-matter experts, and independent advisors will be featured on Bloomberg Radio’s Bloomberg Markets program. Hosts Paul Sweeney and Matt Miller will broadcast live from the National Conference, October 12–13, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET.

Maintaining its commitment to giving back across communities, Commonwealth will host a 5K Fun Run and Walk for attendees. All donations will go directly to the Commonwealth Cares Fund, Commonwealth’s 501(C)3 organization, which supports important causes across the firm’s local communities. Attendees can also volunteer with Project Helping on-site, building “Kynd Kit” dignity packs that will be distributed to individuals experiencing homelessness in Colorado.
