New Alerts Eliminate Guesswork for Advisors
Commonwealth Financial Network® Releases Enhancements to
Online Alerting System
Waltham, Mass. (February 26, 2008) — Financial advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network® continue to reduce the time they spend on administrative tasks and increase the time they spend with clients. Commonwealth recently introduced enhancements to its Web-based Practice360° Alerting system, providing advisors with comprehensive monitoring of client activity. Alerts are triggered for all activity requiring immediate attention.
Advisors can streamline tasks among staff by selecting who in their office should be notified when a specific alert is triggered. Examples of alerts include bond calls, debit accounts, margin calls, maturity notices, check exceptions, GTC order executed, and GTC order expired, to name a few.
“Alerting takes the guesswork out of my attempts to track the inflows and outflows of funds to client accounts,” said Craig Pulliam, CFP®, Commonwealth advisor and managing partner of Premier Asset Management. “Now I’m immediately informed that such an event has occurred, and I can promptly notify clients. I impress clients with my efficiency.”
Alerts that advisors would normally have received via e-mail will now automatically appear on the homepage when advisors access Commonwealth’s back office operating system, COMMunity Link®. And while e-mail alerts omit potentially sensitive information, full information for an alert is now accessible via the homepage.
“Advisors can spend more time reaching out to clients if they don’t have to track operational and administrative items,” said Darren Tedesco, Commonwealth’s director of business systems and strategic development. “More than anything, this is really a ‘peace-of-mind’ system that fosters improved productivity.”
