Qualifying advisors, along with a guest, are invited to attend Commonwealth’s top producer meeting known as the Leaders Conference. Our 2012 program will be held May 14–20, 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt, in Enniskerry, Ireland. President’s Club Qualifying advisors, along with a guest, are invited to attend Commonwealth’s President’s Club, a top producer meeting offering the perfect balance of work and play. Our 2012 program will be held April 27–May 2 at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California. Winners Circle Qualifying advisors, along with a guest, are invited to attend Commonwealth’s Winners Circle, another of our top producer meetings, which offers a perfect balance of work and play. Our 2012 program will be held May 6–10 at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island in Florida. We encourage every Commonwealth advisor to take advantage of the many learning opportunities we offer throughout the year. Our National Conference is our signature event, attracting more than 1,000 attendees each year. But it’s just one of many gatherings we’ve created for the sole purpose of adding value to your business.
Every autumn we hold our National Conference, our largest educational program of the year. It features illuminating keynote speakers, in-depth wealth management sessions, marketing and practice development sessions, as well as incredible evening events and networking opportunities. We’re committed to providing the most comprehensive educational experience available in the industry. You’ll learn a lot and enjoy every minute of it. Our 2012 National Conference will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country, November 2–5, 2012. Summer Road Shows This summer, Commonwealth will hold a coast-to-coast series of one-day meetings designed to provide in-depth education on building and growing a successful financial planning practice. A hands-on, interactive case study will help attendees fine-tune their own approach to planning. And you’ll hear from Commonwealth home office staff, as well as from fellow advisors, about their own financial planning processes. Training and retaining talented support staff is critical to the growth of your business. And the Commonwealth Institute exists solely for that purpose. We offer a number of professional development opportunities to help keep employees at all levels informed, engaged, and contributing to your organization’s success. This nuts-and-bolts course offers two full days of intensive learning to bring new employees up to speed. Attendees learn the critical information needed to perform their daily job functions and leave with a much better understanding of what is available from Commonwealth and how to best use our resources. You may also opt to have your team members attend additional specialized half-day workshops that dig more deeply into Commonwealth processes, including Commonwealth CRM, trading, and insurance. Commonwealth 101 is held every other month at our Waltham, Massachusetts, office and quarterly in our San Diego, California, office. Advanced Topics Symposium Our annual staff event, styled on our annual National Conference for advisors, offers expanded content to empower support staff in all roles to take their learning to the next level.
