Office Services Manager
The Office Services department manages everything that keeps our home offices running, including the reception areas, mail processing, in-house kitchens, and our entire physical plant.

As the office services manager, your responsibilities would include:

  • Hiring, training, and motivating staff; delivering performance feedback
  • Overseeing mailroom activities, including receipt, sorting, and distribution of incoming mail; preparation of outgoing mail and express services; receiving docking shipments
  • Consulting with internal customers on printing, mailing, or fulfillment projects handled onsite or contracted to an outside vendor
  • Planning, allocating, and monitoring daily workflow; managing department schedule to ensure commitments are met
  • Maintaining inventory system for supplies
  • Maintaining department records
  • Supporting the facility maintenance needs

The ideal candidate would also meet the following requirements:

  • 5 or more years of management experience
  • Prior experience in an office services environment
  • Superior teambuilding abilities
  • Able to maintain a positive, high-energy environment while upholding department standards and promoting continual process improvement
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multitask and adapt to fast-changing priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of current postal regulations, preferred
  • Knowledge of Pitney Bowes DM 1000, DocuMatch, or competitive mailing equipment helpful
  • Experience with SMARTMailer and Arrival software, a plus
