New Accounts Associate
The New Accounts departmemt processes new investment accounts opened by advisors on behalf of their clients.

As a new accounts associate, your responsibilities would include:

  • Opening new accounts and inputting general maintenance information received by fax, mail, and Internet
  • Performing data entry for new accounts
  • Managing margin paperwork follow-up and issues
  • Managing checkwriting and retirement application follow-up and issues
  • Sorting and processing returned mail and making necessary address changes
  • Assuming additional responsibilities, as requested

The ideal candidate would also meet the following requirements:

  • FINRA Series 7 registration, preferred
  • Attention to detail that stands out as a top skill
  • An eye for process improvement and a passion for quality assurance
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Exemplary phone skills
  • Able to solve problems in an efficient and professional manner
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office basics (e.g., Word, Excel)
