Chief Market Strategist
The Investment Research department reviews and approves investment products and provides recommendations to advisors on economic analysis, asset allocation, portfolio management, individual investment managers, and the full range of investment products the advisors may use to help clients achieve financial goals.

As chief market strategist, your responsibilities would include:
- Providing Commonwealth advisors with written and verbal commentary and analysis on the capital markets, economy, monetary policy, asset allocation, and security selection
- Conducting research on market-related topics and publishing white papers and articles designed to educate internal research teams, our network of advisors, and outside entities including the media and prospective Commonwealth advisors
- Chairing the firm’s Investment Committee and providing input into the firm’s various recommended products and portfolio management offerings
- Contributing to the investment research process and working with internal research teams to provide strategic and tactical investment recommendations
- Participating in firm and industry conferences as an expert speaker or panelist
- Providing individual advisor support, as requested, including phone consultations and occasional participation in investor events and teleconferences
- Aiding in the recruitment of new advisors to the firm by promoting the firm’s value-added research efforts
The ideal candidate would also meet the following requirements:
- CFA
- MBA
- A minimum of 10 years of specifically related experience
- FINRA Series 7 registration (Series 65, a plus)
